Hand-Dyed Scarves from Mineville Wool Project

Hand-Dyed Scarves from Mineville Wool Project

You probably know that Kathryn Thomas is the founder and long-time creative force behind Fleece Artist. Recently, she and daughter, Emily Dempsey, started the Mineville Wool Project to bring us more hand-dyed joy in a variety of unique, small lot yarns and fibres. We are happy to be able to share their work with you. Available today, we have a very limited number of hand-woven mohair scarves. The scarves are woven in South Africa and hand-dyed here in Nova Scotia by the dye team in Mineville. The mohair is blended with a touch of wool and nylon and spun light and fluffy and a little bit fuzzy. The scarves are the perfect funky-chic combination, each one is unique, and a beauty.
