What’s new in the store this weekend, you ask? Fleece Artist and Handmaiden Fine Yarns, for starters. Beautiful colors in Curly Locks, O’Paca, and Kidazzle. The O’Paca is brushed alpaca with a very angora-ish look and feel. The skeins are 125 g and have over 800 m of soft, fuzzy yarn. The Kidazzle is a merino/mohair blend that is deliciously soft with a just a touch of halo. Not only would it make the most heavenly shawl, but sales help support a lovely young woman who was seriously injured in a cruel hit-and-run accident last year near Wolfville. We also have Cream, Pacific, and Plum colors in Cascade 128, and two more new yarns from Estelle. We have our first 2 colors in Drake, a chunky, varigated, thick-and thin yarn that is perfect for colorful wraps and sweaters. We are also introducing Murrina, a shimmering multi-color merino/viscose blend in a heavy aran weight. We only have one color in so far, but it is a beautiful one. Murrina will make a very special sweater, cowl, or hat. Come see them all for yourself!
