I wrote about our new yarn yesterday, but it, mysteriously didn't post--I will try again. We have more yummy, fuzzy yarns in the shop now (since yesterday). Brilliant, vivid colors from the Fleece Artist/Handmaiden dyers. I'm thinking we are going to have a very halo-rich fall and winter--feminine, luxurious garments and accessories knit with O'Paca, Zambezi, Maiden Hair, Goldiehair, Mo, Curlylocks, Peter Rabbit and other beautiful fibres in solids, semi-solids, and varigated colors. Did you realize you can knit a whole Featherweight Cardigan (Hannah Fettig, available from Ravelry) with only one skein of Zambezi? I'm almost finished with a free-style shoulder cowl in O'Paca (on a large needle); I'd guess I've got enough yarn left on the ball to knit two more. All of these yarns are also purrrrfect for blending with a plainer, solid yarn to add some very feminine warmth to a sweater or shawl or shoulder cowl.
Today would be a great day to come see them, before your favourite is gone. While you are there, try a sample of our delicious Republic of Tea. Maybe it will be Ginger Peach black tea in the sample pot today (that's my new favourite).
