Romi Hill

Romi Hill

The Brandywine shawl by Romi Hill is a bottom up garter-plus-lace beauty that Sabrina and I both have on the needles now.  She is knitting with Halo, dyed by Minesville Wool Project, and I am knitting with Silk Garden Sock.  $5 US of every pattern purchased is being donated to Doctors without Borders. She set a goal to sell 10,000 patterns, and, according to her Ravelry pattern page, had been able to donate $26,000 to the charity by the end of 2013!  Wow, that's a great shawl.  So far, I'm finding the knitting very easy-going.  I'm following the chart, but the instructions are also written.  I'll post a picture of my finished version when I'm done.
